M1 First Aid is made up of trained and experienced
individuals, who are capable of dealing with a protest/rally situation.
The majority of us worked as first aid volunteers at s11.
M1 First Aid will operate from 6am until 11.30am-noon
when the Unity march moves off. Many volunteers will partake in
the march and following M1 events on the day.
M1 First Aid will be based in a White Marquee
within the Collins-King streets intersection. We will be easily
identified by white t-shirts with a large green cross on the front
and back. First Aid will be working closely with Legal and iXpress
on the day. If you are injured in anyway- come to the marquee,
we can help you and also refer you to a Legal Observer to make
a statement if necessary.

Coming to M1? Want to be part of
a lively, militant group? Then the RED BLOCK is for you. Following
the successful ' red contingent' at s11, Socialist Alternative
is organising the RED BLOCK for M1.
We want to make M1 a success by involving
as many people as possible in militant actions - blockading, occupying
corporate targets, taking over streets etc.
But individuals can't make this happen.
By uniting the people who think that
M1 should be as militant as possible, the RED BLOCK aims to convince
as many people as possible to take action at M1 which really fuck
up corporate Melbourne.
The RED BLOCK will meet outside the
Stock Exchange at 6am on May 1st.
